London, England Travel Guide

London is a dream destination with a vibrant dining scene, world-class museums like the British Museum and the stunning gardens, and so much history. I put together a small itenary for a quick trip to London, we fit a lot exploration, dining and art into 2 days!

  • Go Early to Dishoom (4pm)

  • British Museum is a Must

  • Travel By Train

London in 2 Days for the Creative

Starting from one end of this route to the other, you’ll cover about 5 miles, taking roughly an hour and thirty minutes to walk through. Of course, you'll want to stop and take in the sights along the way, making this an excellent day plan to tackle many items on your London bucket list! I covered these in 2 Days in London with a carry on in along the way. We arrived in to London in the early afternoon and tackled the sites as followed.

Day 1

Big Ben
Marvel at the iconic clock tower, which has become a symbol of London.

Buckingham Palace
No visit to London is complete without a stop at Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British monarch.

London Eye & London Bridge
We didn't go up close as it wasn't walking distance, but we viewed it along our route.

Trafalgar Square
Near West End we popped over here briefly for the tourist energy.

Day 2

Early Lunch at Uzumaki London
An easy pick up and so good! A hidden gem in London, we picked up at ate it outside of Westminster Abbey.

Walk through Piccadilly Circus to get to the British Museum

Highlight was seeing the Beatrix Potter exhibit.

Early Dinner at Dishoom
Go to the British Museum early then hop here about 4pm otherwise you'll wait in a line outside. Amazing Indian Fiishion food, one of the best places I've ever eaten.

A Play in West End
We saw The Ocean at the End of the LaneatNoel Coward Theatre. It was amazing and the perfect evening. We were even able to walk back to our hotel after.
